When I was in grade school a teacher asked me what I wanted to do when I grow up and my response was, "Everything." This mindset has followed me throughout my life and there is no better example than my tattoo work. I've been at it for 20 years and it hasn't always been an easy journey, in fact, I've wanted to quit several times because I didn't feel that I was at the place I wanted to be.
But I never gave up and pushed to overcome my self-criticism which helped me to understand that my journey as a tattoo artist wasn't mine alone and wouldn't have gone anywhere without the trust of those who want to wear my art.
