TATTOO NOMAD PRESENTS: A DAY IN THE LIFE
I remember when a friend's parents got a video camera. It was one of those big, heavy VCR cassette using types. We would sit around all day making videos that we thought would change the world. Not really, but we did find a stuffed chicken at a thrift store which we used as the antagonist of our films. It would destroy our action figures by shooting roman candles out of its beak.
Those were the days.
I started Tattoo Nomad to showcase tattoo art and artists from around the world. This gave me an opportunity to visit places I never thought I would ever see and meet some truly wonderful people in the process. Covid put somewhat of a damper on the production side of Tattoo Nomad but I still manage to make shorts now and then.
I guess that chicken finally did catch up to me in the end.
My proudest achievement was documenting some of the senior's in my town and the stories from their past growing up in Kohala where I was able to obtain some truly rare footage from the good old days.
